Do you charge for travel time to go and get the parts?
No. The parts will be pre-ordered so we only charge for time spent actually working on the vehicle.
Will I know how much the car service or car repair will end up or will I get a big surprise ?
Our pricing policy will be explained to you when you book your car in. Before we commence any extra work, the mechanic will explain the work required and associated costs - you are always in control of the cost and will not get a nasty surprise.
Do I have to pay on the day of the job and how can I pay?
Yes. Payment needs to be made at the completion of the job. We accept all major credit and debit cards except American Express.
What is the warranty on your work?
All our services and repairs are fully guaranteed for 12 months
Do you do repairs as well as services?
Of course, we have fully equipped mobile workshops and all our work is performed on-site at your convenience.
Are you workers contractors or employees?
All of Top Ginger Servicing staff are employees and not contractors. They strive to maintain our high standards.
How soon can a technician come to me?
We can usually organise a visit within two working days although there may be spaces available earlier. You can e-mail or better still call the office on 020 8391 2846 or 07730 530802 to arrange an arrival time.
What are your operating hours?
Our first appointment has an arrival time of 8.00 a.m. through to our last arrival time of 4.30 p.m. Although, within reason, we can arrange our times to suit you
Do you work Weekends?
Yes. Top Ginger Servicing technicians come to you for car service or repair 6 days a week - Monday to Saturday. Due to the extra costs of Saturday overtime, there is a £20 surcharge for any job booked in for a Saturday.
Do you work on Bank Holidays?
Yes and No. We are closed on Christmas and Boxing Day, New Years Day,
Good Friday and Easter Monday. However on other Bank Holidays we are open
with a limited crew. Please call 020 8391 3846 or 07730 530802 to confirm our hours of
operation if you need a repair or service on your car. There is a £20
surcharge for any job booked in on a public holiday.
